The Ark of Hope Rescue

(At left) This is "Inky" the kitty! She is a small female, mostly black with a little white. She was brought to the Ark of Hope Rescue by a nice lady who is very concerned about all of the abandoned cats in our county!! She has helped a lot of cats on her own but wasn't able to take in another cat at this time. So the Ark of Hope has offered to help with "Inky." Sweet little Inky is a wonderful, lovable kitty who is looking for a family of her own. When Inky came to The Ark of Hope she was Very Pregnant! A week after she arrived here she had 6 beautiful kittens, on April 13th (Friday the 13th!). Inky is a very sweet cat, who in the near future will be needing a family to take her into their lives so she can make them happy. She is litter box trained, very neat and clean. She has taught her kittens the proper use of the litter box. She has been a terrific mommy!

UPDATE: INKY WAS SPAYED ON JUNE 12TH. She is now ready and very willing to have a loving family come and adopt her!

UPDATE: YEAH, INKY HAS A HOME, AND BETTER YET, THE MAN WHO CHOSE INKY ALSO TOOK HER SON, MIDNIGHT!!! THEY WILL BE TOGETHER FOREVER, YEAH!!!

(At right) Dameon, the kitty on the left, is ALL black and Midnight, on the right, looks exactly like its mother! These little kittens were born on Friday, April 13th! It really would be wonderful if Midnight could be adopted with his Mom Inky because he is the text book "Mama's boy".

UPDATE: DAMEON AND MIDNIGHT HAVE BOTH BEEN ADOPTED!!! MIDNIGHT NEVER HAS TO BE AFRAID THAT HE WILL BE SEPARATED FROM HIS MOM. THEY HAVE BOTH BEEN ADOPTED TOGETHER!

(At left) Ghost, the kitten on the left, is white with a little grey highlights. Spirit is the kitten on the right, he/she? is white with grey highlights and a "dirty" face! Both kittens are adorable.

UPDATE; GHOST AND SPIRIT HAVE BOTH BEEN ADOPTED!!!

(At right) This little grey kitten, Phantom is a sweet as they come! The camera nearly scared it to death! He really wants a loving family soon!

UPDATE; PHANTOM HAS BEEN ADOPTED, YEAH!!!

(At left) Casper the calico kitten is an adorable, playful feline.

UPDATE; CASPER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!

(At right) Velvet is a young kitty approx. 8-9 months old. She came to the Ark of Hope after someone found her being mistreated! Who could hurt this adorable kitten! She is without a doubt the nicest cat I have ever had!!! And I have had a lot! You can do anything to this cat, hold her on her back like a baby, run her tummy, play with her feet and all she does is "purrrrrrr!" This kitten needs a home with someone that wants a lap kitty to cuddle! Velvet Kitty is gorgeous! Solid black, super soft, and so very friendly.  Velvet would like nothing else but to crawl up into your lap and watch a couple of "Nine Lives" commercials with you. By the way...she has been spayed, we don't want anymore unwanted kitties! Don't you know anyone that has been looking for a purr-fect kitty? Call them and tell them that you found her for them! She's waiting!!!

UPDATE: Woohoo!! Velvet has been adopted! She now live in Frostburg, MD. Her new mom and dad are real cats lovers! She will have a wonderful life-long home that any cat would meow over!!! Yeah, for Velvet!
