The Ark of Hope Rescue

These are the three surviving puppies that were "dumped" on the side of a road, approx. 14 weeks old. The first puppy looks like she may be part border collie mix, the second puppy looks to be beagle mix and the third puppy looks like she is a black lab mix. Their momma sure did get around! There were two other puppies in this litter but they were hit and killed by passing car late at night before they could have been rescued.

(left) This is little "Paige". She is an adorable little female! Who could have starved these little puppies like this?

This adorable little boy (right) is "Allen." I'm sorry this picture does not show his cute little face.

Believe it or not this is Paige, see the picture above, 4 weeks difference!	These are the three surviving puppies. They stacked themselves up like this. On the top is Paige, next in the middle is Allen and on the bottom is sweet Marie!	This is "Allen" the sweet little "Love-bug"

Update - Jan.24th: The three puppies; Paige, Allen and Marie are doing wonderfully. They sure do not look like the pictures at the top of the page any more! They have gained weight and look like perfect puppies now! The vet thinks that they are almost ready to be adopted! Above are pictures of Paige (yellow) and Allen (beagle mix) only 4 weeks after they arrived at the Ark of Hope Rescue. As you can see there are no bones showing any longer! They have gained weight and have turned into really wonderful puppies. A picture of Marie never shows well since she is all black.

UPDATE - February 15th: The two girls, Paige (now Butterscotch) and Marie (now Tarra), have both been adopted!!! A little boy (Tommy Lee) picked one (Paige) and his dad picked Marie. They couldn't persuade each other of their pick so they decided on both!

Little Allen, that adorable little beagle mix has become the greatest little dog! But he still needs a home...Maybe you know someone that is looking for a sweet little "love-bug." Give them our phone number!!!
